Creative Direction

For my final intern project at Skanska, I designed “Structural Education”, a photography book featuring photos I took on Skanska construction sites and community events. Referencing the Skanska Brand Hub, I structured the creative direction to align with the company’s brand identity. Site visits were a holistic and structural education during my internship. They exposed me to the material manifestations of what everyone in our offices and our trailers are working towards: building strong, sustainable structures. While I found these visits fascinating and visually compelling, what happens on construction sites is routine for others. The goal of this book was to showcase this work through an outside perspective, someone whose technical blind spots granted the privilege of aesthetics.

Graphic Design

As a Graphic Designer for Strike Magazine, I am assigned each week to create an accompanying graphic for a blog post. I collaborate with the graphics team and director to design weekly graphics with Adobe Illustrator and InDesign. I also enjoy making party flyers for personal use. Names and dates removed for privacy.

Videography

The Betsey - A documentary highlighting The Betsey Trotwood, a Victorian pub in the historical district of Clerkenwell in central London. My team and I directed and produced the documentary within a three-week deadline for our Intro to Documentary Filmmaking course at the FSU London Study Centre.

Consulting

For my Visual Rhetoric course, our praxis project final was to provide consulting to a fictionalized company using the concepts we learned in our theoretical readings. For my project, the Museum för Modernt Mode, a Swedish art museum, requested my consulting firm a conceptual framework for their new exhibit. Desigining the solicitation letter and project memo were also crucial elements of this project.
